Arrival at conference centre

From Barcelona centre
Metro Line 1 (red) to Glòries, or Line 4 (yellow) to Llacuna: Line 1 runs to Glòries metro station. There is access via a lift to the street at the Gran Via exit. Line 4 runs to Llacuna station. Access to the street is via escalator or stairs only. This map shows the Barcelona metro network. Bus: Bus numbers 7, 42, 56, and 141 run between the centre of Barcelona (in or near Plaça Catalunya) and Glòries metro station.

tmb1.JPG You may find it useful to buy the T-10 Travelcard for your stay here. This covers 10 full journeys (including connections) taken by any means of public transport. The T-10 is priced according to the zones through which you travel (from 1 to 6 zones). Glòries station is in zone 1. The price of the T-10 ticket for one zone is € 9.45. From the airport
Taxi: Taxis from the airport are plentiful. The journey to Barcelona centre costs about €30, and to the MediaTIC building about € 40. Train: RENFE trains on line R2 run every 30 minutes from Terminal 2 to the centre of Barcelona and stop at Sants, Passeig de Gràcia and El Clot-Aragó stations. If you arrive at Terminal 1, you can take a free connecting bus to Terminal 2. The journey time from the airport to the centre of Barcelona is about 30 minutes. T-10 tickets can be purchased at the railway station in Terminal 2, and are valid for use on the airport train. Airport BusThe Aerobus runs every few minutes to Plaça Catalunya in the centre of Barcelona. You can buy your ticket from the staff at the bus stops (payment in cash or by credit card), at the automatic sales machines (payment by credit card) or by paying the bus driver (cash only payments). Encashment change up to 20 €.Single ticket: 5,75 € *: Valid for one person and his/her luggage and valid up to one hour after purchasing.Return ticket: 9,95 € *: Valid for person and his/her luggage. Valid GOING up to 1 hour after purchasing, and valid RETURN up to 9 days after purchasing. You must keep the ticket in order to exchange it for the return ticket trip.Integrated travel tickets (T-10, T-Mes, T-50/30, T-Trimestre T-Jove, T-Familiar, T-Dia) are not valid for this service.

  • You can not book tickets in advance.

From other Spanish cities
Train: AVE (high speed) trains from Madrid, Málaga and Seville arrive in Barcelona Sants station. RENFE trains from other parts of Spain also arrive in Sants station. You can find information about AVE services here, and about other RENFE services RENFE here
